The objective is to understand what it takes to continuously deliver a large / complex product, while reducing organizational complexity. At the same time, being able to bring real improvement without comprimising any of the Agile principles.
Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) is a simple framework for product development with multiple teams. LeSS builds on top of the Scrum principles such as empiricism, cross-functional self-managing teams and provides a framework for applying that at scale. It provides simple structural rules and guidelines on how to adopt Scrum in large product development.
The Certified LeSS Practitioner course is an in-depth course covering the LeSS principles, framework and rules, and guides. It provides essential information for adopting and improving LeSS to your product development group. The course contains an overview of LeSS, stories on LeSS adoptions, exercises and extensive LeSS Q&A to ensure we discuss the topics most of interest to the participants.
Audience & Prerequisite
The Certified LeSS Practitioner course is for anyone involved in a software product delivery. Basic Scrum knowledge is expected and can be achieved by attending a Certified ScrumMaster or a Professional ScrumMaster course, or thoroughly reading Scrum introduction material such as the Scrum Primer and practicing Scrum.
Agenda
On day one we will focus on the basics of the framework (LeSS rules) and how teams collaborate and deliver by following the framework. The second day focusses on LeSS Principles and organizational aspects. Also, managing the product development with Definition of Done, role of the Product Owner and how (line) managements role changes in LeSS will be discussed. The last day focuses on how different teams coordinate their work, deal with architecture and how LeSS is adopted in organizations.

Trainer
Viktor Grgić, is an Agile Coach from Odd-e, software developer and Certified LeSS trainer with 17 years of experience in delivering enterprise systems and Agile adoptions. He worked first 15 years in The Netherlands, and since 2013 in Hong Kong.
He brings Agile transformation and practices on organizational (management & product ownership), team and technical (software development practices and operations) level.
